It has been a while since posting here. I'm at blogworld and new media expo in las vegas this bright morning.

It isn't entirely true about it being the city that never sleeps. It just goes to bed very early in the morning.

San Clemente Beach

Drove over to San Clemente today. Always wanted to spend a day at the beach. Sunset soon. For now it is surfer time. Get the swimmers out of the water.

Barrel Cactus Bloom Time

The Monsoon season rains have begun. This signals the barrel cactus which quickly respond and push out new blossoms.

Some of last year's fruit still remains attached as this years cycle of life mingles with the last.

Before Ronald There was Speedee

Yes, little ones Speedee pre-dates the famous clown and company as the mascot for our favorite burger place.

Not to be confused with the foaming Speedy who's name sounds the same but is spelled different.

Guys Named Dave

At Famous Dave's where guys named Dave eat free today. Yum
